What kind of builder.
We're small on purpose. Two to four jobs running at any time, a tight crew of trades we've worked with for years, and a single principal who is on every site, every week. There is no business development team — there's just the work, and the people we've built it for telling other people about it.
We take projects we can take seriously. Heritage homes that someone is afraid to pass to a builder. Renovations where the structural problem is the whole brief. New builds where the site has something to say about how the house should sit. Solar that's part of the house, not bolted onto it.
What we don't do: cookie-cutter project homes, knock-down-rebuild speculation, "turnkey" packages assembled from a brochure.
Ben.
Ben runs the company and the sites. He's the person you meet on the first walk-through and the person who hands you the keys at the end. In between, he's the one your trades report to and the one who answers the phone on a Saturday when the rain finds a flashing.
Practically, this means decisions are made on site, in front of the work, by the person whose name is on the licence. The trade-off is scale: we run a small book. The benefit is that nothing about your project is being decided by someone who hasn't stood in your kitchen.

Trust in this trade is mostly granted on faith. We'd rather it was granted on record. Everything below can be verified — by you, by your conveyancer, by the regulator — without taking our word for it.
- 01 QBCC licence Licensed Queensland builder. Look us up on the QBCC online register; check the licence class, the disciplinary record, and the home warranty cover.
- 02 Industry membership Member of Master Builders Queensland and the Housing Industry Association — we hold ourselves to their published codes.
- 03 Independent reviews Named clients, traceable projects, four-and-a-bit-star average across published platforms. Read them on Birdeye.
- 04 Solar accreditation Clean Energy Council accredited installer, signatory to the Solar Retailer Code of Conduct.
- 05 Insurance & warranty Full public liability, contract works, and home warranty insurance on every project that requires it under Queensland law.
